Pasàch

Pesach is the feast of the Unleavened Bread. It is also called Hag Amatsot (the feast of Matsot - the unleavened bread) or Hag Acherut (the feast of Freedom). It commemorates the Exodus of the Jews from Egypt and their liberation from the yoke of slavery.

Purim

Purim, like Hanukkah, is a small festival, which is not mentioned in the Torah, but is linked to a historical event. It is the only holiday that is not directly or indirectly related to the State of Israel, but refers to the salvation of the Jewish community living in Persia that faced the threat of extermination due to anti-Semitism.
